Women's Association oMase and the Lieshout-Mariahout Health Education Working Group are holding a lecture on 'Robotics in Healthcare' for all women from Laarbeek.

The lecture will take place at the Mariahout Community Center. Healthcare is constantly evolving and developing. Robotics and medical technology in healthcare is a rapidly growing field that integrates technologies to improve the quality of care and lighten the workload of healthcare professionals. From assistive robots that help with household tasks to advanced systems that monitor and guide patients, the deployment of robots and medical technology offers innovative solutions for a wide range of challenges. This technology can not only increase efficiency but also improve the interaction between care providers and patients, contributing to a more human approach to care. With the aging population and the increasing demand for care, robotics and medical technology therefore offer promising opportunities for the future. As a functional researcher in healthcare, Menno Jacobs will guide them through these developments. For what is the impact of this on the work of healthcare professionals, and what do you have to deal with, or will you have to deal with, as a patient or client? And what does this mean for a generation that is less attuned to the use of technology than younger generations? Finally, the developments awaiting us in the coming years will be discussed. You can register via the oMase email address.
