Singing, moving, and making music with your toddler or young child: that is the focus of Music on the Lap at Bibliotheek de Lage Beemden.

During this cheerful workshop, children aged 1 to 4 experience a musical adventure together with their (grand)parent, under the guidance of music teacher Carola Heesmans. The picture book 'Coco Can Do It' serves as the central theme. With shakers, dance scarves, instruments, a hand puppet, and other cheerful materials, the workshop becomes a real party. They will sing in a circle, dance, play lap games, and make music themselves. In addition to musical fun, Music on the Lap also stimulates children's language development, motor skills, and social abilities. And for parents/carers, it is a pleasant morning to share a special experience together. Will you join with your (grand)child? This activity takes place at De Dreef in Aarle-Rixtel. Everyone is welcome, even if you are not a library member! Please register via the library's website.
