Art Café with Adriana Plantinga

Meet Adriana Plantinga from Veghel during the KunstCafé at Kunstpodium 't Oude Raadhuis.

At one of her previous exhibitions, a visitor noted: "It was a sheer display of floral splendor. The sun was brought indoors!" That's precisely what Adriana can completely lose herself in: the splendor of flowers. "I find it endlessly beautiful," she says. She attended workshops at the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden to study flowers in detail. She searched for stories about flowers in legends and old fairy tales. "And there are plenty of them," she says. This was followed by watercolors, as well as photographs and quilts.
