Christmas Evening at Museum De Wieger

Experience the magic of Christmas past during a festive evening at Museum De Wieger! On Friday 18 December 2026, Museum De Wieger in Deurne opens its doors for a special evening with free admission. Enjoy beautiful Christmas carols, hot chocolate and the nostalgic festive atmosphere of Hendrik Wiegersma's time.

Admire the beautifully laid Christmas table with the Wiegersma family's original tableware, discover the traditional Christmas tree and explore the museum's exhibitions. Families can join a free Christmas Angel Treasure Hunt, while the Christmas stall offers festive cards and small gifts.

Live music comes from the Deurne Mixed Choir, celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Conducted by Harrie Bootsma and accompanied on piano by Maikel Versantvoort, the singers will perform a selection of traditional and classical Christmas carols.

Outside, you can warm up with hot chocolate and enjoy a festive treat while supplies last.
