OOIT JONGENS plays at Kasteel Croy in Aarle-Rixtel.

Frank van Osch & Jos van den Dungen are two accomplished musicians with over 100 years of combined experience on their instruments. "But there's absolutely no wear and tear; we're two young guns on stage," says Van Osch.

During this performance, love, life, and its scars will be musically explored. Van Osch: "We're concerned about the world around them: intolerance, wars, Trump." The men go to war with humor, music, and sharp, original lyrics. Van Osch has won four Brabant dialect awards for best song lyrics. Musically, they traverse American prairies, the pop music of their youth, cabaret songs, and even sentimental songs. They enjoyed modest success with Stateline Saloon, a tearjerker about a dreary cafe in the American desert. "Ik haj zu gere" is about the performance they gave together 25 years ago at Paradiso with their band Born in a Barn.

To top it all off, their new keyboardist Frans Baudoin will be playing on a few songs for the very first time. He previously did this with VOF de Kunst. Van den Dungen played with Dimitri van Toren, Van Osch with Bots, and now with the renowned Veulpoepers. EVER JONGENS promises to be a comforting, moving, and simultaneously hilarious ode to life.
