Fundraising campaign 'Everyone a cup'

Under this motto, the Lions Club Netherlands, in collaboration with the Dutch Food Bank, is holding a collection campaign for Douwe Egberts points in December for the 14th time.

The value of the points is increased by DE-Nederland and converted into packets of coffee. In Laarbeek, the collection campaign is now being organized for the third year by Louis Doomernik, a member of the Lions Club Eindhoven Host.

Conspicuous red collection boxes will be placed in Laarbeek community centers and neighborhood centers throughout December. The collected points will be counted after the campaign and delivered to DE-Nederland via the Dutch Food Bank. Douwe Egberts will round up the number of collected points and convert this into a quantity of 250-gram packets of Aroma Rood quick filter grind, proportional to the price of coffee on the world market.

The returned packets of coffee will be handed over to Pastor Rosario of the Parish of Blessed Father Eustachius of Lieshout. Through the intervention of the Parish, the coffee reaches the less fortunate citizens of Laarbeek.
