Thirty years after their last meeting, brothers Franz and Horst are reunited in a residential care home where Horst is reluctantly living. What begins as an awkward reunion soon develops into an emotional confrontation as painful memories and long-buried tensions resurface.

The unexpected arrival of someone from their past forces both brothers to face old wounds, unresolved emotions, and a rivalry that runs deeper than either of them imagined. Love, family, regret, and the possibility of reconciliation all come together in this moving story.

Sunday the Ninth is a touching Belgian-Dutch drama about family relationships, the passing of time, and the courage it takes to confront the past.

Cast: Josse De Pauw, Peter Van den Begin, Kristien De Proost, Frank Lammers, Sieger Sloot, and Isabelle van Hecke.

Director: Kat Steppe.
