In fact, a humorous Brabant Christmas special with Kwartjesvolk needs no further explanation. Known in a large part of Brabant, visitors know that they can expect an evening of generous laughter, beautiful songs, a tease here and there; in short, a delightful evening.

With a wide range of instruments including accordions, drawpipes, guitars, mandolins, thinwizzle's, double bass, banjos, washboard, hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, fiddle and drums, as well as a good deal of humour and cabaretesque performance of Brabant song, they have already entertained thousands of people.
In this Christmas special, intimate songs alternate with cheerful sing-alongs. The stories are told in an amusing way. Because the eye also wants something, the group cannot refrain from adding lustre to some of their songs by appearing on stage in a special outfit.
Kwartjesvolk consists of Hent van den Heuvel, Tinus Verstraten, Gerard van de Schans, Tiny van Schijndel, Walter Huvenaars, Piet Huvenaars and Jan van Schijndel.
