Laarbeek primary schools basketball tournament

The annual Laarbeek Primary School Basketball Tournament, organized by BC Lieshout, will once again take place at De Klumper Sports Hall.

De Klumper Sports Hall in Lieshout is the place where primary school students from all over Laarbeek gather for a day of sportsmanship, fun, and team spirit. Parents and guardians are invited to register their children, along with friends or classmates, for this popular tournament!

The LBBT offers a unique opportunity for children to discover basketball in an accessible way. The tournament is known for the enthusiastic participation of students, supported by parents and volunteers. The goal? To organize a day focused on sportsmanship, fun, and teamwork. A sporty day for everyone!

Parents and guardians can put together a team of 6 to 12 players and register them via the website. Each team needs a supervisor, such as a parent, teacher, or volunteer. During the tournament, the children will be supervised by coaches, volunteers, and referees from BC Lieshout. The tournament is divided into three age categories: Groups 3 & 4 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Groups 5 & 6 from 12:30 PM to 4:00 PM, and Groups 7 & 8 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

Registration closes on Monday, March 2nd, so be quick! There is room for a maximum of 16 teams per category. Teams can come up with an original name, and each team chooses a uniform color, including a backup color. For years, the LBBT has been a highlight for young people in Laarbeek. It's not just about winning prizes; it's primarily about the fun of playing basketball, learning new skills, and strengthening team spirit in a respectful environment.
