'Men with Beards' in Kouwenberg church

The band's songs are a mix of folk, country, and blues.

The band recently released their second album, "Men with Beards Part 2," an "Americana album" that harks back to old-time music and often contemporary stories. Men with Beards consists of two generations of musicians who found each other years ago through their love of roots music and are embarking on a new adventure: Bart van Asten (guitar & vocals), Martijn Kuijten (guitar & vocals), Karel van Bokhoven (mandolin & vocals), and Marc Lemmen (double bass). This afternoon, they will be playing their new repertoire exclusively, supplemented with some fine traditional pieces. Admission is payable in cash at the box office.
