Freedom Festival Laarbeek
We celebrate our freedom with young and old, with activities for all primary school students from Laarbeek.
Program:
Come and view a number of military vehicles from the Second World War at Heuvelplein! We will also gather here together with the brass band and guilds for the Liberation March.
Walk with us from Heuvelplein to the St. Michael's Church to collect the Freedom Flame. Afterwards, we will go to the memorial monument next to the town hall on Koppelstraat.
Come and watch the lighting of the Freedom Flame at the memorial monument by the Mayor and the Youth Mayor.
After the short ceremony, the Freedom Games will open for all primary school children in Laarbeek. There is a free Freedom Picnic, an art stage, an inflatable obstacle course, and many fun games.
