St. Joseph’s Chapel
In the centre of Sint Jozefplein stands a small chapel containing a bronze relief of Saint Joseph with the Child. The artist is Jac. Maris Heumen, and the chapel has stood there since 1952.
When everyone had to evacuate at the end of the war, the residents of Sint Jozefplein promised to build a chapel if Sint Jozefplein still existed upon their return. By 1952, they had raised the money and the chapel was built.
