Farrier's workshop
On the corner of Julianastraat and Kleine Marktstraat stands the renovated house and smithy of the former farrier. The first inhabitants of 'aan het Mertvelt' are mentioned in documents dating from before 1675. From around 1860 onwards, the Van Bussel and Hoefnagels families lived here with their smithies. Horses were shoed in the old stable until 1954. Municipal monument.
