Walking route Griendtsveen
Walking network route through the beautiful Peel nature and the picturesque village of Griendtsveen.
Griendtsveen originated in peat colonial times, Jozef and Eduard van de Griendt founded the Maatschappij Griendtsveen in 1885. From the business activities arose the village, with workers' houses, a bakery and a café. The inn is still there and is a wonderful stopping place for cyclists and walkers.
Monuments
On the walk through Griendtsveen you will come across many monuments, such as the villa of the Van de Griendt family and beautiful saddleback houses. The many canals are a reminder of earlier times.
