Second-hand bike fair

In August, the St Caecilia bike fair is back on the agenda. The music association in Lieshout helps with buying and selling second-hand bikes.

The fair is in August, but if you want to donate a bike, it can be collected now. The fair works as follows. Buyers are welcome to look around and try out the bikes. Sellers can have their bike sold for an agreed price, with 15 percent of the price going to the music association. Donations are also welcome, just call Adriaan Schepers. The bike will then be collected and checked before the fair. Every year there is a nice selection of children's bikes, but there is always room for more. Children quickly outgrow their bikes and a new one can be expensive if their cycling skills are still developing. Are the children's bikes piling up at home? Feel free to call then too! This way, the playground at De Spankel on the Grotenhof fills up again this year with more than a hundred bikes in all price ranges.
