Graveltocht De Hooglander Gravel Festive

The De Hooglander Gravel Festive gravel ride is being organized for the third time.

A gravel ride is a cycling tour based on the concept of the Strada Bianche ridden in Italy. The routes take place on partly unpaved roads, heading towards the Strabrechtse Heide and over the highest point of Brabant. This year, all routes have been modified. There is a choice of three distances: 50, 80, and 100 kilometers. For those who would like to get acquainted with a gravel ride, there is a 50km light version that you can complete with slightly wider 30 mm tires. After the ride, you will receive tokens and a glass to round off the event with your cycling buddies at the Schenk beer festival. The start is at the Heemkamer on the Kouwenberg in Aarle-Rixtel. Because the Schenk beer festival does not start until 2:00 PM, the start times have been adjusted accordingly. The 50-kilometer race starts between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, the 80-kilometer race between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM, and the 100-kilometer race between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM.
