Mosaic Guild exhibition theme ‘Growth and flowering’

The Mosaic Guild is an association of mosaic artists from the Netherlands and they hold an exhibition at ‘t Oude Raadhuis. The members are: Mariëlle Baets, Monique Boncz, Henny Borra, Elsbeth Fokker, Ellis Huijs and Antien Zuidberg.
These artists use the mosaic technique, each in their own way, to create a work of art. There are major differences in style, technique and application. Mosaics can be colourful or subdued. The most commonly used materials are glass, tiles and ceramics.
The theme of this exhibition is Growth and Flowering. Many works are directly inspired by flowers and plants. And the theme is broader, for instance also personal growth and flowering or a growing, thriving community.
Also open during opening hours of gift shop Knus bij Marie. Parking opposite ‘t Oude Raadhuis (free).
