The Laarbeek Women's Society opens the new season with a lecture on Rome.
This is a great opportunity for interested women to get to know the activities and members of this club in an informal way.
Peter Jansen, lecturer, Rome expert and (art) historian, will talk about Roma Aeterna: eternal Rome. Why “eternal”? Because Rome has been the beating heart of culture, power, faith and art for thousands of years. From emperors and gladiators to popes and pilgrims: this city breathes history. Peter Jansen will guide you through its rich history, from the emperors to the current Holy Year 2025, with knowledge and humour. The lecture will take place at De Couwenbergh in Aarle-Rixtel.
