Everyone wants to grow old, but (almost) no one wants to be old.
Growing old healthily is crucial to quality of life. At De Lage Beemden Library, you can learn how this works and what is important.
As you get older, your body changes. You often move less, use less energy and may suffer from various ailments. This affects your appetite and your health. The risk of diseases such as high blood pressure, obesity or malnutrition also increases. This lecture is especially for people over 60 who still live independently and cook for themselves. You will receive clear explanations and practical tips on healthy eating and nutrition for anti-aging. Pay attention to a good balance in your diet. This helps to prevent obesity, malnutrition and possibly even wrinkles.
