In the 105-minute film, Remi and Leo have been inseparable from a young age. Their friendship is genuine, infectious, and disarming. But then comes a turning point. You see them cycling to their new high school, cheerful and uninhibited. But on one of their first days of school, one of their classmates asks, "Are you a couple?" This drives them apart emotionally, behaviorally, and in their further growth and development as adolescents and young adults. With dramatic consequences. This film addresses almost all aspects of life through, in, and with the eyes of a child, both positive and negative. The expressions often initially evoke associations such as innocence, open-mindedness, spontaneity, and limitless questioning. But children's perspectives can also be deeply clouded by prevailing prejudices, viewpoints, role models, and so on in society. However, this film delves much deeper than just homophobia and gender issues. That's precisely why it's so inspiring.
