Bleu Thibo crane

On the banks of the Zuid-Willemsvaart in Beek en Donk, the metal company of the illustrious Van Thiel family has been there since time immemorial. A lot has changed since blacksmith Piet van Thiel started forging nails on this spot in 1842. This crane was always used for loading and unloading at Thibo. After it was no longer used, it was placed as a monument at the Zuid-Willemsvaart and can now be seen at the Bosscheweg near the Thibostraat. The crane is characteristic for Beek en Donk as industrial heritage in the heyday of the metal industry.
