Museum Klok & Peel
One museum, two collections.
The Peel collection teaches you in a unique way how the Groote Peel National Park has developed over millions of years into a unique nature reserve. In the Bell collection, the museum displays the largest collection of bells and carillons from all over the world. Book a guided tour or engage your kids in the collection by means of activity books.

De Groote Peel National Park
De Groote Peel National Park is a vast, water-rich and quiet high moorland area, best known for its many bird species. You can enjoy walking between ponds and over wooden bridges. Enjoy the tranquillity of a unique moorland area.

De Oostenwind windmill
The windmill is open every Wednesday and Saturday afternoon and operates when the weather is suitable. The miller enjoys talking about the post mill, which has been in operation since the Middle Ages.

Church of the Presentation of Mary
The H. Maria Presentatiekerk (Church of the Presentation of Mary) is a Roman Catholic, neo-Gothic church from 1898, dedicated to Mary's Presentation. Architect: Caspar Franssen. Not so long ago, old murals were uncovered from beneath the plasterwork.

Ommel Procession Park
In Ommel, the little statue of Our Lady with Child continues to attract many visitors. The park contains a Calvary, a Lourdes grotto and 14 Stations of the Cross – places for prayer, reflection and inspiration. There are also six chapels depicting the history of the little statue that dates since the year 1400. Each one is a unique work of art carved from sandstone. The Calvary and these six chapels have the status of national monuments.

Belfort De Vossenberg
Of course, you will climb the 22-metre-high “Belfort de Vossenberg” for the magnificent view over De Groote Peel. Nowhere else can you see the vastness of this National Park so well. But in the meantime, you will learn a lot about the Peel-Raamstelling and the Second World War, which was particularly fierce in this area, especially in the last year of the war.
