Start the walk at the Tourist Office (VVV) in ’t Kwartier, Kerkstraat 10. Just in front of the entrance stands the Veterans Monument.

Turn around and walk straight ahead just past ’t Kwartier on your right. Just before the apartment complex, turn right again towards Moussault Park, with the cemetery wall on your right. Walk toward The Fallen Man.

Continue walking through the park. Cross the street and enter Lijntjesstraat. Then take the first left into Adelheid van Voornstraat. At the intersection on the left is the Radboud Plaque.

Turn left into Bernard de Merodestraat, then left again into Kruiskensweg. Next, turn right into Moussaultstraat and continue straight at the fork toward the entrance of the care home De Lisse. In the courtyard behind the pond, in the park, you’ll find The Lily and Red Cherries.

Cross at the traffic lights and turn right, then take the next left into Julianastraat. Then turn left into Bartholomeushof. Follow the path to the back and take the second right. Across from number 44, you’ll find Two Generations.

Return to Julianastraat, turn right into Kleine Marktstraat, and then left to the Town Hall on the Markt. Above the stairs hangs the Coat of Arms of the Municipality of Asten.
Next to the town hall, on the right, is the VVV Bell.

Walk back past the front of the town hall, across the Markt until you reach Emmastraat. On the corner of Burgemeester Frenckenstraat and Tuinstraat stands Prince De Klot.

Turn left into Burgemeester Frenckenstraat. Follow the sharp bend to the left past the parking lot. At the pedestrian path on the right is the Social Sofa.

Follow the path to Burgemeester Ruttenplein, where you’ll see the Lion Fountain.

Walk to the left, leaving Burgemeester Ruttenplein. At the end, turn left into Burgemeester Wijnenstraat. At the end, on the right wall, hangs H. Gerardus.

Turn right onto Koningsplein. Keep the church on your left, then turn right and immediately left into Driehoekstraat. After 100 meters, on a courtyard to the left, stands The Horse.

Turn around and walk back to Koningsplein. Turn right and walk past the front of the church into Wilhelminastraat. After 100 meters, you’ll find the entrance to Royal Eijsbouts, the bell foundry. There you’ll see The Fence.

Turn back and return to the entrance of the church. Above the entrance: Mary with Child. Across from the church stands The Green Gate.

Continue walking across Koningsplein, with your back to the church. Near the end on the right stands the statue of Jan die smet van der Diesdunc. Directly behind this statue is the beautifully decorated bay window of the former Bluijssen family villa with the Hunting Scene.

Immediately to the right of this villa is a covered passageway that bends around behind a low fence. At the end of this passage, by the wheelchair ramp, hangs the relief Lievenhuis. Opposite it, at the base of the stairs/ramp, is the statue of Anne Frank.

Visit the inner garden of the old section of the former Bartholomeus monastery.
Then turn right toward Kerkstraat. Cross the street and look up at the roof ridge of Bartholomeus to see the sculpture of the same name.

You are now back at ’t Kwartier, the starting point of this walk.
