Spatial Object artwork in Someren
Spatial object Wilhelminaplein; The spatial object is a transparent closure of the Wilhelminaplein. The work of art consists of seven columns: three columns for the number of perfection, the feeling and four columns for the number of law, the ratio. The moon rests on the columns, the symbol of spirituality. The column is made up of seven identical blocks, which are rotated seven degrees relative to each other. On the column, a ball balances on three skeg shapes. The ball represents the sun, symbol of everyday life. The artwork is a nice link to the seven lakes and the seven cores, which are said to form the basis of the creation of Someren. The number 7 has special properties. The artwork is made by artist Jan Samsom from Utrecht.
