Monastery walking tour Aarle-Rixtel

3 hour 20 minutes (13 km)

This cloister walk lets you discover the beautiful nature around the Heilig Bloed Missionary Convent in Aarle-Rixtel. You start at the beautiful monastery with the adjacent monastery garden. Here you look out over the fields where the nuns grew their food. The route takes you along Kloosterkasteel Gemert, the Sint Jans Onthoofdingskerk, the Sint Joriskapel and the former Nazareth convent of the Franciscan Sisters of Oirschot.

Our convent trail
In Aarle-Rixtel you can also join the Ons Kloosterpad. This long-distance walking route takes you in 15 stages past fifty historic monasteries and abbeys in Brabant.
