Route around Asten - cycling

De Groote Peel National Park is partly on Asten territory and is definitely worth discovering. Through this cycle route you will discover the unique landscape of Asten and De Peel. Rondje Asten takes you through a very varied landscape of forests, fields, meadows and streams that are interspersed with characteristic farms. 
Along the way you will find plenty of rest areas with picnic tables and terraces for a snack or drink. Ommel, known for its large Guild procession that takes place every year on the third Sunday in May, and Asten-Heusden, which was already a hamlet in the Middle Ages, are also not skipped.
