Farce 'The curse of toetang and his amon'

The Circle of Friends has been to many places with its performances. On a cruise ship, hotel, campsite, farm, hospital, church and police station. In short; too many to mention. This year, De Vriendenkring is performing the farce 'The curse of toetang and his amon', and for this they are going by plane to Cairo, Egypt.

Aaltje Berepoot does not feel like going on holiday with her husband and their little caravan this year. She has booked an all-inclusive trip to Egypt, but her Berent does not feel like it at all. They have never flown before and Berent in particular is dreading going to hot and sandy Egypt like a mountain. The hotel is not what was expected, but Aaltje is determined to make the best of it. Then Aaltje buys a very old statue of a cat from a strange man, but whether it was such a wise purchase.

Performances begin the second week of March and then there are nine performances. Of course, the performances are again in the main hall of the Village Hall in Lieshout where you can check in from an hour before curtain-up, with the flight scheduled for 8pm. For this, you do need a boarding pass and these are on sale from 19 February at Van Berlo Top 1 Toys in Lieshout. Make sure you have a valid passport or identity card with you, otherwise you won't get through customs. But once inside, the farce can begin.
