Oldtimer moped tour

until 21 April

Oldtimer Moped Club 'De Bromvliegers' will hold the first event of the touring season. The 'Gouwe Ouwe Rit' starts in Aarle-Rixtel and anyone with a well-insured moped or bicycle with an auxiliary motor at least 20 years old can participate in this tour. Meeting and registration at Multifunctional Centre De Dreef.
With more than a hundred tours in over 20 years behind them, De Bromvliegers start the Brabantse Bromfietsdagen with the Gouwe Ouwe Rit in Aarle-Rixtel. A beautiful route over a distance of about 80 kilometres leads through the Brabants countryside and about halfway there is a cosy break point. Speed plays no role in this tour. Enjoying the beautiful surroundings together is the moped motto of De Bromvliegers. Should you encounter any breakdowns during the ride, you can use our own broom wagon to follow the participants.

Members come from all over the world and especially from south-east Brabant. Non-members are welcome, because the bigger the turnout, the better the event. The Gouwe Ouwe Rit is part of the 'Brabantse Bromfiets Dagen' (Brabant Moped Days), of which later rides will also be organised from Venhorst, Zijtaart, Rosmalen, Mariaheide and Nijnsel. Weather permitting, they expect around 200 participants. Members of the public are welcome to come and enjoy this driving museum. For this, the following times are interesting: from 9.00 am, moped enthusiasts will gather at De Dreef. The start will take place at 10.30 am. Between 2.30 and 3.30 pm, the mopeds and Solexes are expected back in Aarle-Rixtel. So come and have a look and enjoy all those Zündapps, Kreidlers, Puchs, Solexes etc.

For more information you can call Henk van Lierop, or check out the website of De Bromvliegers.
Registration is open from 9.30 to 10.30 a.m. and for non-members is €12.00 euro, which includes a consumption at the starting point, care at the break point and a nice souvenir for the moped.
