Viewing afternoon at the excavations Hoge Regt Oost between Padre Becanusstraat and Molenweg. The Hoge Regt Oost is the last part where houses will be built in the De Hoge Regt neighbourhood. It concerns the area between Molenweg and Pater Becanusstraat in Beek en Donk. In the preparations to start building, soil research has been done. This is because they want to make sure they do not encounter any surprises when construction starts. During this soil investigation, indications were found that this site may contain finds from the 13th to 15th century. Therefore, they started excavations from 8 April.

Viewing afternoon at the excavations Hoge Regt Oost between Padre Becanusstraat and Molenweg. The Hoge Regt Oost is the last part where houses will be built in the De Hoge Regt neighbourhood. It concerns the area between Molenweg and Pater Becanusstraat in Beek en Donk. In the preparations to start building, soil research has been done. This is because they want to make sure they do not encounter any surprises when construction starts. During this soil investigation, indications were found that this site may contain finds from the 13th to 15th century. Therefore, they started excavations from 8 April.
The excavations are being carried out by Bureau RAAP and started on 8 April. This requires a crane and involves archaeologists. If we find anything, it will be documented and stored immediately. We expect the work to take two weeks. Afterwards, the area will be resealed so that housing construction can start.
Viewing afternoon
