In 2019 and 2020, the war victims from the Peel were commemorated and 75 years of freedom celebrated. This happened with more than 150 activities that took place in the Peel. But even today there are numerous locations and routes that tell the stories of WWII. With Death Valley de Peel, you take a journey through the Peel landscape where impressive stories about events during the Second World War come to life. This thematic network of routes counts a total of 400 kilometers, divided into 15 cycling routes. More than 100 points of interest tell the story of soldiers, residents, refugees and occupiers in the Peel during the Second World War.
