In a special collaboration with BBC jazz, a concert was organised in the Village Hall with the East Brabant Police Band. Politieharmonie has existed for over 75 years and represents the Eindhoven and Den Bosch regions.
Besides official affairs such as swearing-in, marking commemorations and anniversaries, concerts are also held regularly in the regions, but also abroad, such as last year in Rome. Besides police officers, skilled musicians from the vibrant club life also play in the orchestra. And there is immediately the link with BBC Jazz! Mutual reinforcement and support of musicians is common in orchestras. So too with the Police Band and BBC Jazz. And what could be more fun than providing a beautiful musical afternoon together. In the Theatre Hall of Dorpshuis Lieshout, you can get to know the varied repertoire of the Police Band. Naturally led by conductor Martien Maas from Deurne and this afternoon with vocals by Maurice de Beer. After the break, BBC-Jazz will take over and swinging will be provided in the foyer.
