Presentation 'Surprising Aarle'

The Aarle local history society will again hold its monthly lecture evening. This time, Aarle-Rixtel will once again be prominently featured under the title 'Surprising Aarle'.
Heemkundel member Henk van Beek will again take people on a voyage of discovery through this characteristic village. Once again, a variety of subjects are literally portrayed, both historical and current. For instance, contemporary plans include visible roots from the past, such as the Malthezer farm, Strijp and the Bell Foundry. On the basis of (old) photos, maps, films, archive documents, etc., striking people, striking (historical) pictures and places, monuments, special events, etc. will pass by. Of course, visitors to this presentation may also contribute if they feel inclined to do so. In short, it should be another pleasant Aarlese evening.
The presentation will be held in the Couwenbergh. Non-members pay a small contribution.
